Lucy Jameson: „Strategists become the alpha animals in a post-advertising world.“

In dieser Zeit wurde die Agentur dreimal in Folge IPA Effectiveness Agency of the Year.

Lucys These: „There has been a tectonic shift in our industry. Connected to the rise of technological platforms, storytelling and interaction, today’s complexity makes strategy THE pivotal marketing skill. While creatives were the alpha animals of traditional advertising in the 1990s, strategists set the agenda for what we produce nowadays. As strategists we should be sharply aware of this – our role is more important than ever before.”

Heidi Hackemer: „Don’t think advertising. Change organizations.“

Heidis These: „Why should you still focus on campaigns when you can actually do so much more? Historically, advertising has been the sole manifestation of brand thinking. But with the explosion of touch-points and transparency in the last decade or so, brand thinking has the potential to drive organizations, not just ads. Today’s strategists have the opportunity to evolve the practice of emotional storytelling and use that superpower to change companies for good.”

Jeroen Matser: „Cut the crap, not the corners.”

Jeroens These: „Working in a rapidly changing industry, it is easy to fall into the lure of the bull**it trap: buzzwords, short-lived business models and tech-trends that seem to change 24/7. Time to cut the crap and focus on ‘real’ strategy again: making some real decisions, setting some real direction and come up with a winning plan. It is upon us strategists to define what makes brands relevant and successful in the ever-changing world of today and tomorrow.”
